2027 South Island Blokart Open – 20 & 21 February 2027
Given the popular holiday destination Nelson is, it’s not too early to be thinking about booking accommodation and making travel arrangements for the 2027 South Island Blokart Open. The venue is Wakapuaka Sandflat Reservelocated 15km northeast of Nelson on SH6.
The sandflat surface is generally smooth and hard with some low vegetation cover in parts. The area for sailing is about 220m x 130m with plenty of options for course variation between two main sailing legs.
For support crews there is a pleasant, grassed area next to a stand of trees for taking in the action and relaxing.
