Mega Mitre 10 Hornby BBQ – August 2025

A fine but cool day ensured brisk business at the Mega Mitre 10 BBQ kiosk. This annual fundraising event also helped promote the sport of blokart sailing as well as the Canterbury Blokart Club Inc. Ten members of the Club on a two hourly roster managed the kiosk from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. raising just over $800.00 for the Club. Some 430 sausages were sold along with 14 kg of onions and 21 loaves of bread.
